Methodology
What is Action Learning?
Action Learning is a process that involves a small group working on real problems, taking action, and learning as individuals and as a team. It was developed by Reg Revans and advanced by Dr. Michael Marquardt at WIAL Brazil.
Solving Real Problems
Unlike traditional training, Action Learning tackles actual organizational challenges. Teams work on real problems that matter to their organization, generating both solutions and learning simultaneously.
The Six Components
Action Learning sets consist of six essential components: a problem or challenge, an Action Learning group, reflective inquiry, actions taken, learning (individual, team, and organizational), and an Action Learning coach.
